Our windows come as standard with draft excluders, smooth operation and easy maintenance, with optional extras such as double glazing and choice of hardwood or softwood.

Box Sashes

Traditional box sashes are vertical sliding windows hung on lead weights or with a modern way, using spiral balance (adjustable balanced spring counterweights). Sashes can be made to take Single or Double Glazed glass. With extras such as sash lifts, 'D' handles, a choice of locking, such as the traditional Fitch fastener and a various type of glazing bar designs for both single and Double glazed.

All our box sashes are made with high quality timber and gaskets. This ensures that your home essentially stays draft free.

Our expertise also means we can replace your sashes with double glazed, into your existing weight boxes (providing that they are rot free).

Storm-proof Casements

All of our storm proof casements are made to measure with a variety of designs to suit individual needs. They come with Espagnollette locking, friction hinges and a choice of handles, as you would find on uPVC windows. These windows can be made either out of hardwood or softwood and also as an added extra can be installed with a night position vent.
 

Tilt and Turn Windows

Tilt and turn windows are made to open internally. Their unique design makes them a popular choice with easy operation and being draft free.
 

Yorkshire sliders

The original Yorkshire sliders found in many listed buildings can be reproduced and also can be made identically to modern double glazed versions. As with the box sashes a different range of glazing bars are available for single and double glazed.
